“Music is the speech of Angels”

Thomas Carlyle

Playing the piano and passing on this art to others is my passion. My starting point is where music and personal experience meet or overlap. This element that cannot be put into words, that gives an artist charisma and that touches people in a wonderful way beyond pure pianistic skill.

“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.”

Victor Hugo

Becoming aware of yourself through the piano

Playing the piano is complex and requires a willingness to put in patience and perseverance. The slow growth of a skill is what also brings us inner satisfaction and fulfillment in the long run.

My own approach to the piano has changed a lot over the years through my involvement with many related fields. The experience brings a concentration on the essential, the simple and the immediate.

I am always fascinated to observe how my students conquer the music bit by bit and learn to develop themselves in it. It is like a small miracle to observe how different and unique the approach to the piano can be.

Every little progress is a personal success. Every frustration overcome is a joy. Piano practice becomes a kind of meditation, through which one dives from the reality of everyday life into an inner world and comes back from it strengthened.

Lessons for children and adults from 3 to 99 years old

Piano lessons

My piano lessons are divided into two sections.

I give online lessons to adults who are also willing to take lessons on an irregular basis and who have an interest for personal development through piano playing.

I also work freelance at the Munich Music School "Klavierstunde München" with children and adults. My lessons are also suitable as preparation for competitions or entrance exams.

In Memory of Prof. Stan Ford,

Mozarteum Salzburg

It is with great sadness that I learned of the unexpected passing of Professor Stan Ford.

For me, he was far more than a piano professor. He was a remarkable mentor, a kind and generous human being, and someone whose influence extended far beyond the walls of the Mozarteum. His warmth, humor, and genuine interest in people made him truly exceptional.

Throughout the many years since my studies, Stan never lost touch. He continued to follow my journey with sincere curiosity, encouraged my projects, celebrated my achievements, and always found thoughtful and supportive words whenever we were in contact. His commitment went far beyond simple encouragement. He generously supported several initiatives that were close to my heart: he taught young Spanish pianists as a piano professor at MUSICA & LINGUA, gave masterclasses for various chamber music ensembles I was involved with, and even travelled to Munich on several occasions to attend my concerts. These gestures reflected not only his dedication as an educator but also the genuine personal interest he took in the lives and development of his students.

As a teacher, he combined the highest artistic standards with profound respect for every individual. He guided, inspired, and challenged his students while always treating them with kindness and dignity. His lessons were not only about music and piano playing—they were about personal growth, confidence, and discovering one’s own artistic voice.

What made Stan truly unique was his humanity. He had a wonderful sense of humor, an open heart, and an extraordinary ability to make people feel valued. Generations of students experienced his encouragement, wisdom, and unwavering support. The relationships he built with his students went far beyond what one would normally expect from a professor at a music university.

I will always be grateful for his friendship, his guidance, and his belief in me. His generosity of spirit, his laughter, and his genuine care for others will remain a lasting inspiration. At the same time, his musical legacy will continue to live on through the many students whose artistic lives he shaped with such dedication, wisdom, and passion. Through their music, his influence will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Stan, you will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Rest in peace.

Enclave de Dos

Piano duo with pianist Maria Jesús Durán

In June 2003 I founded the duo "Enclave de Dos" with the Spanish pianist Maria Jesús Durán, in order to give form to our long-standing musical collaboration. Since then we rehearse and play regularly.

Our repertoire ranges from classical four-hand piano literature, such as Mozart, Schubert, Debussy or Fauré, to somewhat more modern composers such as Ravel and Hindemith.

However, a matter of our hearts is contemporary Spanish music. We have made it our goal to promote Spanish authors and can already list six works in our repertoire that were composed specially for the duo.
